38th Annual Chile Pepper Festival
The University of Arkansas Cross Country Course in Fayetteville will host the 38th Annual Chile Pepper Festival Friday, Oct 2, through Saturday, Oct 3.
The community is invited to race in the Tom Lewis 1 Mile Pepper Dash on Friday, or a 4K or 8K on Saturday. The remaining races will feature local junior high teams, along with high school and collegiate competition.
More than 80 college teams and 120 high school teams typically compete each year, with around 500 individuals expected to participate in the open events. The festival has become one of the premier running events in the U.S.
