Ribbon Cutting Event @ Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends Pet Resource Center in Bentonville will host a ribbon-cutting event on Sunday, Aug 9, at 12p to celebrate the opening of a new Little Free Library built by Habitat for Humanity volunteers, followed by an indoor local market until 4p and free family-friendly craft activities throughout the afternoon.

Kids are invited to bring a book into one of the free-roaming cat rooms to read to adoptable cats, with the Little Free Library stocked with titles for readers of all ages and located in the center's lobby for ongoing community use.

The celebration also doubles as a reminder that adoption fees are completely waived throughout the month of August.
