Walker Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Walker Park in Fayetteville will celebrate its major renovation with a ribbon-cutting celebration on Sunday, Oct 18, from 2-5p.
Fayetteville residents approved a park improvement bond in 2019, which helped fund the park’s $4-5M redevelopment. Upgrades include lighted multipurpose fields, a rebuilt playground, refurbished tennis courts, lighted pickleball and sand volleyball courts, a modern horseshoe facility, and a yard game hub with baggo, bocce, and ping pong tables.
The free celebration on Sunday will feature live music, food trucks, and opportunities to try out the park’s new features.
