The Listening-Table Bentonville
The Longest Road
The House at Compton Gardens & Arboretum | Bentonville, Arkansas
Some roads are measured in miles.
Others are measured in the stories we carry, the risks we take, the people we meet, and the moments that change the way we see the world.
On August 27th, The Listening-Table comes to Bentonville for The Longest Road, an intimate supper club experience built around chef-led food, intentional conversation, paired wine, storytelling cocktails, and a live acoustic performance from Chancey Williams.
Located inside The House at Compton Gardens & Arboretum, this dinner will take place in the Dr. Neil Compton Exhibit Room, a space that offers a meaningful glimpse into the life and legacy of one of Arkansas’s most influential conservationists. Surrounded by Bentonville’s natural beauty and trail culture, the setting creates the perfect backdrop for a night rooted in connection, grit, music, and the roads that shape us.
Each Listening-Table dinner is built to slow the room down. Guests gather over a 4 to 5 course chef-led meal, paired wines, cocktails that tell stories, thoughtful details, and Listening-Table gifts created to carry the night home with them.
For this Bentonville dinner, the theme The Longest Road is inspired by the trails of Northwest Arkansas, the journey of building a meaningful life, and the cowboy grit behind our featured artist.
Chancey Williams is a saddle bronc athlete-turned neo-traditional country artist who has gone from competing on horseback to performing on center stage. A northeastern Wyoming native, Williams is one of only two artists, alongside Chris LeDoux, to both compete in the rodeo and perform on the main stage at Cheyenne Frontier Days. He is also the only singer-songwriter endorsed by CINCH®.
His career has taken him across the country, sharing stages with Toby Keith, Cody Johnson, Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley, and Parker McCollum, with performances at the Ryman Auditorium, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the National Finals Rodeo, and the Grand Ole Opry.
Chancey’s music carries the same spirit as this dinner: stay the course, trust the road, and honor where you come from.
We are still finalizing our chef for the evening, but every Listening-Table dinner includes a curated multi-course meal, paired wine, specialty cocktails, live music, intentional conversation, and signature Listening-Table gifts.
Seats are limited, and access will be released first to members and our waitlist.
Join us in Bentonville for The Longest Road.
A dinner for the stories that brought us here, and the roads still ahead.
